Donald Trump Indictment: Sealed Indictment Reportedly Issued Against Trump, Will Become Basis For Impeachment

By Nathan Francis

Donald Trump is reportedly facing a sealed indictment, one that will form the basis for impeachment proceedings against the president and could result in him trading the White House for a jail cell.

The report claims that a FISA court has already issued the indictment, though it did not specify what charges it mentioned or exactly when it could be made public. While a sitting president cannot be arrested by the law enforcement or face trial, the indictment can lead to impeachment proceedings that would eventually lead to a trial after the president is removed from office.
The report on Trump’s indictment comes from a pair of journalists with deep ties to the intelligence community, Claude Taylor and Louise Mensch.
A terse report was published Saturday evening on Mensch’s political blog, Patribotics.
“Separate sources with links to the intelligence and justice communities have stated that a sealed indictment has been granted against Donald Trump,” the rep…

Venezuela is Syria all over again

By from around the web

Get ready for another war because Venezuela is the world's 5th largest oil exporting nation and they are turning off the taps to Texas oil fields. The conflict is about to hit boiling point. Venezuela has been phasing out the old oil contracts which allowed Texas oil companies to operate fields and pocket the revenues.  Instead they adopted a policy in which Petroleos de Venezuela operates joint ventures in which it has the majority stake with state-owned developers from nations such as Russia and China, posing a direct threat to US dominance of Venezuelan fields.

Venezuela has been using its rapidly escalating oil revenues to introduce universal healthcare, state pensions and social housing for the 80 percent of the population living in poverty.

Here's how one might expect Trump/Pompeo to escalate problems in Venezuela and promote regime change so that Texas Oil can go back to business as usual:

Israel tried to wiretap Hamas in botched mission, group says

By Fares Akram

Gaza’s ruling Hamas said Saturday that Israeli undercover forces had attempted to install equipment to monitor the Islamic militant group’s landline communications network during a botched mission in November.

The findings of a lengthy investigation were announced by the Hamas military wing, known as the Qassam Brigades, in a pre-recorded TV statement.

Hamas presented surveillance footage, as well as photos of drills, chain saws and two pistols with silencers, to back up its claims.

Hamas thwarted an attempt to “plant spying devices in the Gaza Strip,” a Qassam spokesman, identified only as Abu Obeida, said in the statement.

Israel’s military has not released details about the operation which went awry Nov. 11, leading to the heaviest round of cross-border fire, including Hamas rockets and Israeli airstrikes, since a 2014 war between the two sides.

The Hamas statement described an Israeli mission that allegedly spanned close to a year.

Abu Obeida said Is…

In China, the Lunar New Year will be the year of Peppa Pig

By Echo Huang

Peppa Pig, once namechecked by the Chinese government for being too “gangster,” will now be ushering in the Lunar New Year in 2019 on the big screen in the Year of the Pig.

A feature film starring the British cartoon icon, translated as Peppa Pig Celebrates Chinese New Year, will hit theaters in China on Feb. 5, the first day of the holiday. The film is a co-production between Entertainment One, which holds the rights to Peppa Pig, and China’s Alibaba Pictures, and according to a recently released trailer (link in Chinese), it tells a story of how two Chinese children—and their friend Peppa—celebrate the festival with their families.

In the film, Peppa, who speaks Mandarin—and appears in her original un-gangster-like self—is friends with two children nicknamed Jiaozi (dumplings) and Tangyuan (glutinous rice ball), both foods traditionally eaten during the festival. She is tasked with getting Jiaozi, a three-year-old boy, out of bed, after both fireworks and a dog…
